All But Gluten Chocolate Snack Cakes

We bought these in Vons in Bishop, CA and wanted to eat them for pudding. My greedy daddy ate a whole one but mummy and I tried one and spat them out after one tiny bite. They were mouldy and horrid.

The Wrangler @ The Furnace Inn Ranch, Death Valley 27th & 28th July 2015

Survival mode:Eat or be eaten in Death Valley - You have to think every man for himself!

Diner dinner

Today my family and I stopped at Death Valley -the hottest place in the WORLD!
As we entered the scorching Furnace Creek Inn,we looked around us and we really were in the middle of nowhere. We were only staying for one day, so dinner had to be good. We went to the Wrangler Steak House at the Ranch @ Furnace Creek, where we all had enormous meals. I had a delicious and large, juicy pork chop that came with a mango salsa , black beans and rice.

 Buffet breakfast

We had breakfast at the same place as dinner. It is a breakfast buffet in the morning! I had specially prepared scrambled eggs and bacon. Yum. There was fresh fruit too, but not much else for a Coeliac.

Breakfast Buffet @ The Aria, 27th July 2015

Best Breakfast EVER!

In Las Vegas we stayed in the Aria Hotel. We went to Sage for dinner (you can read about that in a different paragraph), and for the next day's breakfast we went to the Buffet - for the record it was FABULOUS! It was great value and we all really enjoyed it.

The chef, Gerard, showed me around and here are some of the things I had.

   Cranberry juice
   A glass of milk
   Crispy bacon and sausages
   Turkey
   Scrambled egg
Pineapple(I call it Ananas - that's French for pineapple)
   Crayfish
   Smoked salmon
   Smoked trout
   Banana muffin
   chocolate coffee cake

I could have had a GF pizza but I was too full to have anymore. Also I could have had 10 or more different flavours of ice cream and a blueberry crepé.

After breakfast we drove to Death Valley and this kept me full all the way!

Hecho en Vegas, MGM Grand, Las Vegas 26th July 2015

Welcome to Las Vegas

I went here with my family and I was just about to order some enchiladas that were marked GF and then my mum saw that at the bottom of the menu it said that the wrap was made in a factory that used wheat,so if you are on a diet or not very sensitive they would be a decent meal for you.

The waiter was very helpful as he reminded us that the enchilada was made in a factory that handled wheat,so we decided to choose something else and wow! was that an amazing decision!I had a scrumptious Mesquite fired New York strip steak. I especially liked the black beans and Mexican rice. The steak was quite spicy and it was big enough for my brother to taste some

Sage, Aria Resort, Las Vegas 25th July 2015

Viva Las Vegas!

Sage was a very smart and beautiful restaurant with amazing  looking and tasty food. I had a delicious short rib wagyu. The wagyu was cooked for 36 hours, making it very tender. Turnips and potatoes came with the meal. The waitors were very kind and helpful and also very careful with the food that they gave me!
